Integrity is more than honesty. It means living what you believe, no matter what other people think. Real Life Drama challenges students to live with integrity by honoring their commitments.
By the end of this session, students will be equipped to attain greater integrity in their relationships with themselves and others.
We play a game called “What Would You Do?” that helps students consider whether they live out their beliefs. We discuss how living with integrity can have a positive impact on our relationships.
We show a short film called “Mirror, Mirror” about a girl who discovers the consequences of living with low integrity. Discussion questions help students relate the lessons of the story to their own lives.
Students practice open-ended scenes that involve making a difficult choice in the face of a moral dilemma. Their goal is to act with integrity, even when it’s difficult.
We remind students that when you practice integrity, you’ll strengthen your relationships with yourself and others.
