Matt Leonard is a chaplain at Cook County Jail; firm in his beliefs. His friend Carl Piotrowski is a public defender. But on the way to his senior prom, Carl’s son becomes the victim of a brutal, senseless murder. Will Carl be able to endure the tragedy … and will Matt’s faith survive the horrible secret the murderer carries with him?
