Perusal copies of Christmas Presence, Crucifix, and The Father's Gift are available free by e-mail when you contact George. (A $10 postage and printing fee applies if you request a paper copy by mail.) A perusal copy is provided for reading and evaluation purposes only. It does not give you the rights to perform the script!
If you decide to perform the script, royalties for non-professional, non-touring live performances in venues with 500 seats or less are $30 per performance. Please contact the author for royalties in other circumstances.
You can make as many photocopies of the script as necessary for production purposes, for a price of $1 per copy (on the honor system). This saves you the trouble and expense of ordering preprinted scripts. You may not make any video or audio recordings of any part of the play without the express written permission of the author.
If you’re new to royalty plays, here’s an example of the process might work: You order a perusal copy of Christmas Presence and read it. You like it so much that you decide to present 2 performances! You make 8 copies at $1 each for a total of $8, and pay $60 in royalties ($30 per performance). That’s a total cost of only $68. What a deal!
