Troubleshooting Tips
If your computer has a problem loading the photos or video
(You might see a blank screen or an error message) ...
- Did you give the file enough time to load? The photo galleries are large files, several megabytes each, and the videos are even bigger! (Videos are not recommended for dial-up connections.) Even if you have broadband, it may take up a minute or two for your content to be ready for viewing.
- For some of the videos, you must press the "play" (forward arrow) button to begin. (The videos hosted by Google do not start automatically.)
- Depending on your web browser's security settings, you may see a warning about running an "ActiveX Control" when you link to a gallery page. Be sure to tell your computer it's okay to run the control.
- If you find yourself on a blank page and can't see the images (photos or videos), you may not have Adobe Flash Player 9 installed on your computer. You can download it free from the Adobe website.

If your computer loads the first image in a gallery, but you can't see the others ...
- For the photo galleries, there is a "controller"—a small round, blue object on the screen—located in the bottom right corner of each image. Use the arrows inside the controller to move between pictures.
- For some of the videos, you will see a "play" button—a forward-pointing arrow—on the screen. You must click this button to begin playback.
