What a Character: Honesty
For grades 3-8 | 60 minutes | Up to 30 students | $125
Is honesty reallythe best policy–even when it hurts? This role-playing workshop is designed to help kids learn integrity by doing. In a small group, we’ll put your students on the spot to act out real-life scenarios that address values-based choices. Along the way, your presenter, George Halitzka, will share true stories from his life that reinforce the importance of integrity. It’s the ultimate in hands-on character education!
Topics covered during our interactive role-playing workshop include:
- Why is integrity important (even if you don’t get caught)?
- How can you balance kindness with honesty? (Should you tell someone the whole truth about a bad haircut or an ugly shirt, even if it will hurt their feelings?)
- Why is cheating such a lousy idea?
